KABUL -- More than 100 Afghan athletes participated in games commemorating Independence Day in Kabul Monday (July 31), Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
The sports included riding, shooting, swimming and fencing, Modern Pentathlon Federation of Afghanistan President Khoshal Sarwari said, adding winners will receive awards Thursday (August 3).
