KUNDUZ -- Afghan special forces rescued 15 captives from a Taliban prison in Kunduz Province, the Special Operations Corps said in a statement on Monday (August 26).
The operation took place Sunday (August 25) night in Imam Sahib District, the Specials Operations Corps said in the statement.
The freed individuals serve in the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF), it added.
