HERAT -- Afghan commandos and coalition forces destroyed a drug lab and a bomb factory in Herat Province, the 207th Zafar Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Thursday (February 21).
The operation took place in Zer-e-Koh District, said the statement, which gave no details on the timing.
Troops killed at least five militants during the operation, it added.
