Group of ISIS fighters 'join peace process' in Nangarhar

JALALABAD -- Twelve members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) renounced insurgency in Nangarhar Province, Khaama Press reported Monday (May 15).

The ISIS group was active in four districts, said provincial governor's spokesman Ataullah Khogyani, adding that they have joined the peace process.

Meanwhile, an air strike in Achin District, Nangarhar Province, killed four ISIS members and destroyed three ISIS hide-outs, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement, Khaama Press reported Monday.
