KABUL -- At least 11 members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) terrorist group surrendered to local authorities Sunday (July 22) in Jawzjan Province, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
The militants surrendered their weapons in Qush Tepa District, said the statement.
"Security forces welcome those who renounce violence and join the peaceful life, but those who continue to fight will be eliminated," the statement said.
